Welcome to Big Island Animal Sanctuary Animal Shelter!

Here at Big Island Animal Sanctuary we are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for animals in need. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Another aspect of our charter is to be a source of support for individual animal owners as well as those individuals that have chosen to be sanctuaries for animals completely on their own. We offer a variety of services, including adoptions, spay/neuter clinics, food and medicine for those that are having trouble affording it. We are in the stages of raising funding for this project and have a raffle starting Nov 1st 2025 - Jan 31st 2026 please participate and tell your friends as well. ** We use Zeffy for our raffles, they are geared towards non-profits. As such, all funds go to the Non-Profit, there is a choice on the raffle site to "Help keep Zeffy Free" with a drop down menu for a voluntary donation to keep Zeffy operating in the manner, we would appreciate a $1.00 contribution to them.**
